Royal Botanic Garden

To sponsor a Royal Botanic Garden Sydney bench for 10 years, the cost will be from $12,500 - $19,500 AUD based on where the bench is located, dues for iconic views/popular areas would be higher than less active areas. 


As a member of Botanic Gardens Sydney, you receive The Gardens Magazine quarterly, four times a year. The majority of content covers Gardens’ current events and activities.


The Waratah (Telopea) is is my favorite plant from the Royal Botanic Garden, it has an unmistakable and gorgeous red flower, and exemplifies the beauty of the Australian natural environment. I choose it because it is, in appearance, very distinctive, as well as very well suited to all growing conditions it may be found.




“Don’t Dream It’s Over”, a track from Crowded House is soft, emotional vocals couple with lyrics that are easily relatable and thought provoking about the listener's own life. The music has a slow, calm beat but is still memorable. This song continues to be relived, long after it has been played, not because the listener is actively trying to find it but rather because of its simple and powerful sound and its inability to create loudness to be memorable or ever lastingly beautiful.


One more group from Australia that I really enjoy is AC/DC. One thing I find about them is that they are well known for having very powerful guitars and bringing high energy in every song they have made. Their sound is very loud, fun and everybody the wold over enjoys it. The other thing I like about AC/DC is the fact that their songs are so easy to identify, specially the song High Way To Hell, when I hear this song, it really gets me in a great mood, specifically the part where they sing ``High way to hell´´.

I’ve always loved to travel. I’ve been to places like the US, Great Britain, Italy, France and more. But for some reason Sydney has never been on my travel list, until it was. Putting Sydney in my visiting list was the best thing I could have done. After some research I came across a bunch of interesting things to see. What I would like to visit first would be the Sydney Opera House. I’ve always been a music lover, and I’m fascinated with this monument, that’s why I would go there first. The thing that impressed me the most was the Port of Sydney which includes a very big bridge, from where you can see all the city. I have never been to Australia, that is why I‘m so excited to visit it at once. One of my closest friends has been to Sydney and she said she really enjoyed it, that’s another reason why I can’t wait to go! To sum up, I would love to visit Sydney at least once in my life. I think it’s an amazing city with a lot of culture and beautiful sites to visit.

Queen Victoria Building

The QVB or the Queen Victoria Building is a grand shopping center located in the heart of Sydney, Australia. It originally was a market hall, but in the 1980s it was rostered and converted into a luxury shopping center, but still preserving its historic charm. There is a large amount of shops at the Queen Victoria Building. Only the ground floor has 58 stores in it! But the store that caught my attention the most was Jimmy Choo . This store is famous because of the large variety of shoes it has, but mostly heels, heels are the famous thing in this store.  The thing that impressed me the most about this store was the prices of the heels. The average price for a pair of heels is 1030€! In many movies, the main actress might wear Jimmy Choo shoes. Try to watch carefully and see if you can spot them. For example, in Sex and the City, Carrie Bradshaw often wears Jimmy Choos, and they look very nice, until you remember the price!

Sydney Tower

  A number of interesting parts can be found on the website of the Sydney Tower. The SKYWALK part of the Sydney Tower website is definitely one of the most interesting it shows how one can climb up on a glass platform and be outside while having a 360 degree view of the city. I personally think that the SKYWALK portion of the website looks extremely entertaining and could prove to be the type of experience that very few people will experience before. Being able to walk up high above the streets while experiencing the wind on your face while looking at and being able to view the city below you is a completely different than looking out the window of a building. There are also many other sections on the Sydney Tower's website including the Observation Deck and Ticketing sections. The sections about the Observation Deck and Ticketing are useful to visitors so they can plan their visits to the Sydney Tower, and inform them of the types of experiences available to them while they are vi...
