Commonwealth of Nations. This is a group of 56 independent countries, mostly British colonies. They are located in Africa, Asia, America, Europe, and the Pacific. Its main interest areas are goals in terms of democracy, development, and peace. Its most important members are Canada, Australia, India, and the UK. But the country I‘ll be writing about is the Bahamas. The Bahamas is an island country that has around 700 islands, over the Atlantic Ocean. Its beaches, crystal clear water and tourism are some of the things it is famous for. The state gained independence from the United Kingdom on 10 July 1973 and joined the Commonwealth of Nations same day. The Bahamas has participated in every Commonwealth Games since 1954. Its athletes have taken many medals, particularly in track and field. The 2017 Commonwealth Youth Games were held in Nassau, when the country was a host of this multi-sports event. Sydney Opera House

There are many ways to get around Sydney. The problem is that all the public transport in this city, like buses, trains, the metro rail and ferries, are very expensive. But don’t worry, if you purchase the “Opal card” or use a contactless credit card, this would no longer be a problem for you. You can use trains or ferries to get to the Sydney Opera House. You just need to plan your route, and for that you can use “Trip Planner” When you finally make it to the Sydney Opera House either by train or ferry, you’ll need to purchase tickets to get in. For example, if a family of five wants to go in, they would have to purchase arround 48$ for an adult and 28$ for a child, and that only if you pre-book it. Just to get in would be 180$! To save some money you could pre-book the family ticket which is 124$. The Sydney Opera House was designed by a Danish architect called Jørn Utzon. This site opened its doors for the first time in 1973, and when it did a new era of cultural discovery began. Fi...

Queen Victoria Building

The QVB or the Queen Victoria Building is a grand shopping center located in the heart of Sydney, Australia. It originally was a market hall, but in the 1980s it was rostered and converted into a luxury shopping center, but still preserving its historic charm. There is a large amount of shops at the Queen Victoria Building. Only the ground floor has 58 stores in it! But the store that caught my attention the most was Jimmy Choo . This store is famous because of the large variety of shoes it has, but mostly heels, heels are the famous thing in this store.  The thing that impressed me the most about this store was the prices of the heels. The average price for a pair of heels is 1030€! In many movies, the main actress might wear Jimmy Choo shoes. Try to watch carefully and see if you can spot them. For example, in Sex and the City, Carrie Bradshaw often wears Jimmy Choos, and they look very nice, until you remember the price!
